{Featured Clients} Around the World Birthday Party

Karee, a super sweet client of ours, is quite the party planner (and mighty detail oriented, I might add!) She came up with an adorable theme for her daughter's birthday party. She had an "Around the World" party.

We designed invitations for her (airplane boarding passes) and a load of other graphic items, which we can't wait to show you in her photos.
Her daughter loves pink and green, so we incorporated that into most of the items throughout the party.

Here is the invitation design she sent out:

Karee had a whole "trip" planned for the party. She mapped the destinations out on a big map that she hung on the wall.
We designed several signs for the party. When guests arrived, they picked up their passports at "terminal check-in".

She even had us design "flight crew" badges for the adults! Here is a view of the boy and girl passports and the adult badges.
Here is a view of the inside of the passport. Each child had their picture and name on the passport and they used these to "travel" around to the different countries at the party.

They had their passports stamped for the USA. Then they were directed to "Baggage Claim" (again, she had us design signs for her party!) where they were given their carry-on backpacks with their first favors (American flag, ball and flag pencil).

Here is a shot of the "Baggage Claim" area. Karee personalized the favor carry-on bags with an iron-on logo that we designed. We also designed luggage tags personalized with each child's name that were then hung to each bag. The kids would take these carry-on bags to each "country" during the party.
A closeup of the luggage tags that we designed...

After picking up their bag, the children were told to stay in the boarding area and visit with each other since the plane to their first destination was delayed 10 minutes (while all of the remaining kids arrived). (SO creative! - She thinks of every detail!)
When all of the children were there, the pilot (her husband) gave them the "safety instructions" and then they traveled to Germany. They learned several phrases in German and were taught a few facts about Germany. After that country, they were given gummy bears and german chocolate and they received their German sticker on their passport.
Next stop, France, where they learned about artists and got to play a drawing/guessing game. Favors were to be watercolor sets at this country.
Next up, China and Japan. They learned about what animals represent the year of birth. They also got to learn how to make a dog out of oragami paper.
They also played a game to see who could pick up the most swedish fish with chopsticks in 30 seconds.
For China and Japan, the kids received chop sticks, fans, chinese yo yos and noise makers. They got their passports stamped again and traveled to Mexico next!
In Mexico, they had a pinata! All kids love that! Next stop was Hawaii which was outside and had lots of fun things to play with. Hula Hoops, bubbles, a limbo, etc. The kids got their final stamps on their passport and picked up leis, flip flop keychains, pineapple cups to take with them.
Cake and ice cream was served outside. Check out the cake!
Karee used the party logo throughout the party. Here you see her using them on the cups...
Of course I was excited to see that Karee made candy sushi, like we talked about a couple weeks ago! LOVE it!
I love the flag bunting she created! Look at the detail she put into this party!
Other foods served were croissants, cheeses and grapes (France), chips and salsa (Meixco), Fortune cookies and candy sushi, fruit salad (Hawaii).

When the party was over, all of the kids had their passports filled with country stamps.

Here are all of the favors that the kids were able to leave with in their personalized carry-on bags! So cute!
Here is a photo of the party planner herself, Karee, and her husband. Awesome job, guys! Thanks so much for sharing! Great ideas and inspiration! (LOVE their outfits, too!)

Thanks for everything, Karee! I had a blast designing your items!

Belly Fat Reduction and Effective Weight Loss I don't think having a chubby baby is the cause of obesity. I have seen tons of so-called chubby babies in my life that turn into perfectly skinny teenagers and adults. * Blurred vision, dizziness, or even clumsiness
